#1: Support our Staff: Our School thrives when given the opportunity to introduce new strategies & programs to their students. YOUR fundraising helps them to buy things that will enrich YOUR students’ learning. ($8400)
#2: Field Trips: These can include having groups or individuals come to the school, such as Old Creamery, Matt Wilheim or our kids going out to Brucemore. This is a way to tie curriculum into an interactive way for kids to learn. ($3475)
#3: FUN Events & COMMUNITY: Every month we will try and have some kind of fun event to bring ourcommunity together. A strong sense of community helps build strong foundations for our kids. These events are Movie Night, Science Night, Buddies Breakfast, Cuddle Up and Read, ROAR, Game Night, NFL60, Trunk or Treat, Homecoming Parade and Family Fun Night. This also includes things during their school day like PBIS rewards and Skating Unit.($9010)
#4: Operational Costs: Yes this is the boring stuff; it’s the printing, the website, postage and other things we need to run along with getting communication out to all of you! ($1400)
Project Budget: This can change year to year depending on what we are fundraising for. This year we will be starting a Fitness Fund and a Library/Arts Fund. With these funds we will continue to support our Library with books along with our Art and Music Programs. Our Fitness Fund will cover outdoor recess needs, and Gym support.
**The $15,000 takes into consideration of our restaurant nights, Box Top, Hy Vee Receipts, Raffle Basket and other small events/programs Linn Grove participates in. So we still need support in those areas!
